W. Allan Hensley

As Senior Vice President of Duncan Williams Asset Management, Allan works closely with his clients and their retirement plan investments. A native Memphian, Allan received his Accounting degree from Christian Brothers University in 1981. Following a few years in public accounting, Allan’s focus shifted to retirement consulting, where it remains today. Most recently, Allan worked as a financial advisor for a national advisory firm. He holds the professional designations of Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Pension Consultant. Allan is a lifelong member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church where he chairs the Endowment Committee and has directed the Soup Kitchen Ministry feeding the needy of our community each Saturday afternoon for more than 20 years. He serves as the Treasurer of the Board for Thrive Memphis, a non-profit organization providing social, recreational, and continued educational needs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Outside of work, Allan enjoys playing golf and traveling.
